Proper drainage is one of the most important investments a homeowner can make. For this project, Pummill Land Improvements installed a new underground drainage system to collect and redirect water away from the home, helping protect the foundation and improve drainage throughout the property.

Once installation was complete, disturbed areas were restored with final grading, seed and straw, and finished landscape work so the drainage improvements blended naturally into the surrounding property.

Natural Stone Landscape Installation

Natural Stone Landscape Transformation

Completed natural stone landscape installation with stone steps, retaining walls, and shaded sitting area

This project transformed a natural drainage corridor into a functional outdoor living space. Excavation was carried down to bedrock before natural stone retaining walls were constructed to stabilize the terrain while preserving the mature trees.

Stone steps, terraced planting beds, and thoughtfully selected landscaping completed the transformation, creating a durable, shaded sitting area that blends seamlessly with the surrounding property.

Residential Driveway & Drainage Improvement

Improving Access, Drainage & Erosion Control

Northwest Arkansas

Completed residential gravel driveway after grading and drainage improvements

This residential gravel driveway had two small culverts and drainage issues that were affecting how runoff moved around the drive. Pummill Land Improvements graded the driveway and installed a larger culvert to improve drainage through the property.

The runoff channel was reshaped to better direct water, and large stone was placed around the culvert to help control erosion and protect the improved drainage area.
